Genesis Chapter 33

Israel (Jacob) faces his greatest _____________________                       V. 1-17

And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”         -Acts 14:21-22

The order the mothers and children are sent forth by:

First wave:

Bilhah (Rachel’s Maid) and her sons Dan (5), Naphtali (6)

Zilpah (Leah’s Maid) and her sons Gad (7), Asher (8)

 

Second wave:

Leah and her sons and daughter:

            Reuben (1), Simeon (2), Levi (3), Judah (4), Issachar (9), Zebulon (10), Dinah

 

Third wave:

Rachel and her son Joseph (11)

 

If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.                           -Romans 12:18

What does Jacob mean in verse 10 when he says, “I have seen your face as though I had seen the face of God, and you were pleased with me?”

Several Bible passages indicate Esau will not be in Heaven (See Hebrews 12:16), but we can be thankful for this beautiful picture of _____________________.
