Genesis Chapter 50

The burial of Jacob back in the Promised Land                                V. 1-14

There are only two Jewish men we read of being ________________________ in the Bible, and both are in this chapter – Jacob and his son Joseph.

Key things to remember from the Book of Genesis

Genesis means beginnings, or origin. The first word is Bereshith in Hebrew, which means “In the beginning.”

Genesis 1-11 give us the origin of the world and everything in it; Genesis 12-50 give us the origin of Israel, from the Abrahamic Covenant to the 12 Tribes.
