Nine Traits of a Christian Leader Part 4                    Gal. 5:16-26

“The reason we scientists all jumped on The Origin of Species (by Charles Darwin) was because the idea of God interfered with our sexual mores.”                                            -Julian Huxley

Christians know that despite mankind’s attempt to erase God, life only makes ultimate sense when we _________________ God!

The sixth trait of an effective Christian leader is moral goodness.

The Greek word translated goodness is agathosyne (19). It occurs 4x, and means Uprightness of heart and life, goodness, kindness.

Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able to admonish one another.                                                            -Romans 15:14

The world needs Christian leaders that ask “What would Jesus do?”, then find the answer in their Bible, live it out in their lives, and _____________________ it to others!        -Ezra 7:10

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.          -Isa. 5:20

The seventh trait of an effective Christian leader is faithful loyalty.

The Greek word translated faithfulness is pistis (4102). It occurs 244 times, and is translated most as faith. It means conviction about what is true; belief and trust, one who can be __________________ on.

2 Timothy 2:11-13

If you are struggling with faith, don’t confuse moments you are faithless (including _____________ denials) with final denial of Christ. Having doubts is not denial; being discouraged is not denial; being depressed is not denial.
