The ANGEL’s Decree brought the Shepherds to Bethlehem                                                                                               V. 8-20

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.                        -Psalms 34:7

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those wo will inherit salvation?                     -Hebrews 1:14

For there is born to you (ALL PEOPLE) this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.

The shepherds didn’t have as much to bring as the wise men, but they brought themselves and their TESTIMONIES of what God had done for them – we are called to do the same!

If the wise men and the shepherds had not RESPONDED to the revelation they had received, or if they had kept it to themselves, Mary would not have had the wonderful encouragement she got that first Christmas.

“Oh what a God, My Savior is He; born in a manger, died on a tree.”
