Prayer for Christian workers             2 Thess. 3:1-5

All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.  -2 Timothy 3:12

 

Two things to pray for Christian workers:

1.         That as they share the gospel many souls will be __________  V. 1

2.         That God may deliver them from Satanic ________________  V. 2

 

Three things to remember as we live and pray:

The Greek word for despaired means “no passage,” “no exit.”

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.  -I Corinthians 10:13

Prayer for a Non-Christian:   Lord, I give you thanks for creating _____________. I pray for ____________ to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth (I Timothy 2:1-4).                              In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Prayer for fellow believers:   Heavenly Father, I pray that ____________ will know that the powerful Spirit of Christ dwells within now. I pray that ____________ will be rooted and grounded in God’s love, and able to comprehend the vastness of the love of Christ, filled with the fullness of God (Eph. 3:14-19). Lord, I pray that ____________’s love for God and others will abound more and more (Phil. 1:9-11). Lord, may Your name be glorified in and through ____________ (2 Thess. 1:11-12). May ____________ walk worthy of You, Lord, pleasing You, Lord. Strengthen ________________ with Your power and demonstrate through _____________ patient endurance, joy, and thanksgiving (Col. 1:9-12). Prayer for Christian workers:   Lord, open doors for ____________ to share the gospel of Christ (Col. 4:3). May ____________’s service to You be acceptable and honored by the saints (Romans 15:31-32).
