Where’s the Fruit?             Luke 6:43-49

True Disciples bear the right fruit                                                               V. 43-45

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.                         -John 15:8

What are some of the things the Bible refers to as fruit?

Developing Christian ___________ by walking in the Spirit      Gal. 5:22-23

Reading the Bible and walking in its light                                     Eph. 5:8-11

Praying, Praising, Giving thanks, Doing good, Sharing               Heb. 13:15-16

_______________ in ministry giving                                           Phil. 4:16-17

The ____________ we influence for Jesus                              I Thess. 2:19-20

True Disciples have the right ________________                                    V. 46-49

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.      -John 15:5

Is your life built on the Rock of Christ Jesus?

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.                -John 15:2-3

Later on today write 1-3 areas you’d like to bear more fruit in, and 1-3 areas you need to let God prune back in your life.

If a church returns to an __________________ focus, it will experience renewal and continue to be a lighthouse for the gospel, bearing fruit that will remain! If a church remains inwardly focused and guards its outdated preferences, it will decline.
