Christ followers are called to deny their _______________ selves

What you are called to deny for Christ is based on something you are called to _____________ for Christ – that He wants what’s truly best for you more than you know how to want what’s truly best for you. 

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.                          -Hebrews 11:6

Christ followers are called to die ___________ to their selfish selves

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.    -Gal. 2:20

Jesus embraced His cross to actualize salvation for all who believe in Him. We embrace our cross to give people _______________ to that saving message!
