Jesus Stands Alone                 Luke 9:26-36

In today’s passage, we are going to see Jesus’ _________________ demonstrated in a very dramatic way!

Jesus _______ the King(dom) of Heaven                  V. 26-29

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”                       -Mark 1:15

And He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.                     -Matthew 17:2

And He was transfigured before them. His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.                     -Mark 9:2b-3

As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.      -Luke 8:29

 

The word we get transfigured from is the Greek word Metamorphoo (Strong’s Concordance number 3339).

Folks, Jesus didn’t come to found a religion but to ______________ sinners! Religion can’t save a sinner, but Jesus can!
