Genesis Chapters 36 and 37

And the Lord said to her (Rebekah): “Two nations are in your womb, two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, and the older (Esau) shall serve the younger (Jacob).”    -Genesis 25:23

Genesis is the book of beginnings, and in chapter 36 we see the beginnings of the _______________, who became an enemy of Israel as the Old Testament unfolds.

Now Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, Esau’s son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz.                        -Gen. 36:12

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.                  -Hebrews 11:13

Verse 11 is key – the brothers were jealous, but Jacob remembers the dream.

Judah would see Joseph sold for profit rather than be left for dead – God raises up Joseph to __________________ all Israel, including Judah.
