In Exodus chapter 19 Israel got to Mount Sinai, where they will pretty much stay until the book of Numbers begins. In chapter 20 the LAWS of Israel begin.

God knew that the Israelites would fall short and sin, and need a way for their sin to be FORGIVEN – so in chapter 25 instructions for the Tabernacle were given through the end of Exodus.                     2 Chronicles 6:36

Aaron was to burn on it sweet incense every morning and at twilight perpetually “throughout your generations.” That phrase occurs TWENTY times in the Old Testament, all in Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers.
