Dr. Danny Campbell
This young convert was deeply impressed and determined to make these the rules of his life. From that day onward throughout his life he made it a rule to spend the first moments of his day alone with God and God's Word. Before he read a letter, looked at a paper or even read a telegram, he went first to the Bible, that the first impression of the day might be what he got directly from God.

Dr. Danny Campbell shares a word of encouragement for the Wednesday Prayer Meeting entitled, "Heaven is for God Lovers". This is Dr. Danny Campbell's sermon from the 7:00 p.m. Wednesday Prayer Meeting.
Heaven is for God lovers
Imagine two people taking a long trip by train to the place they will both be living afterwards. They are both on a journey and heading to a destination.
Apart from God, nothing is of eternal value!
Read James 1:9-12
Everyone James wrote to felt disoriented and displaced, but those who had lost more possessions were facing living life without things they had relied on.
Be careful not to love what won’t last forever V.9-11
The lowly brother has already learned to do with less, because less is all he had!
The time of trials had brought those who had goods a notch lower – now they had to live like the poor brother had all along!
The poor brother’s lot made him look to Jesus a lot sooner; the rich brother’s comforts had kept him from a closer walk with Jesus for too long.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. -I Timothy 6:10
The message of James in verses 9-11 is that having nothing but Jesus is true riches; having everything but Jesus is true poverty!
Your love for God WILL last forever V. 12
I think this Crown of Life is one of God’s special rewards to those believers who actively love Jesus no matter what they face in this life.
2 John 8 Revelation 3:11
By the way, do you know how to say God-lover in Greek?
It’s in Luke 1 and Acts 1 - Theophilus!
