Saul’s upbringing and training

But brought up in the this city (Jerusalem) at the feet of Gamaliel, and educated according to the strict view of our patriarchal law. -A 22:3

Phil. 3:4-5                    Gal. 1:14

Saul’s hatred of those who worshipped _______________     V. 1-2

As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.    -Acts 8:3

Jesus _____________________ gets Saul’s attention!        V. 3-9

Now how had Saul persecuted Jesus?

What does that last part of verse 5 mean – It is hard for you to kick against the goads?

God uses Jesus people to ___________ people to Jesus     V. 9-19

Jesus suffered to actualize salvation for all who will ever believe – Paul would suffer to give people _______________ to that saving message.

You never know when God is going to use your efforts to win the next Paul to Christ and change the eternal destiny of all those your Paul goes on to reach.
