Today’s passage is about those 10 unique days in between Jesus’ physical presence with them and the Holy Spirit permanently indwelling them and all future believers.

As the disciples gathered they prayed and worshipped                           V. 12-14

As the disciples gathered they heard and applied the Bible                    V. 15-20

As the disciples gathered they thoughtfully made decisions                  V. 21-26

Peter pointed and called criteria that needed to be met, and you should also do that when you have a decision to make.

I believe that this side of the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit helps us all through the prayer based decision making process and gives us peace about our final choice that meets the biblical criteria.
