Age Focused Sunday School Classes
Ministering to families with children is a high priority here at The Tabernacle. Two entire wings of our facility are dedicated to teaching children that God loves them and that He has a divine purpose for their lives. With a love for children and a passion to see them come to know Christ at an early age, the children's ministry volunteers are some of the finest The Tabernacle has to offer.
Our nursery and preschool departments are staffed by women only, and all adults who work with our children's ministries go through a thorough background check, a Child Protection Training Class as well as receive specialized training by our veteran team of teachers.
Junior Church takes place during the regular morning service and is designed with children in mind. Children who are in 1st-4th grade get to attend while parents enjoy the morning service.
Our Junior Church program is designed to teach that God’s Word is true, important and relevant at every age. It is our prayer that the children will absorb these truths and call upon them as they live out their daily lives. Classes are staffed with teachers who are eager to be used of God to display His loving care as they develop relationships with the children. All grade school classes are staffed by teachers who have been through a thorough background check, a Child Protection Training Class and approved to teach the children.
Let your child experience the incredible life-sized custom artwork depicting Noah's Ark painted on the hallways of our newest children's wing. Get a sense of what it must have been like inside the ark with Noah and his family. There are even two tiny lady bugs your child will have fun trying to find while discovering all the other critters!
