Be faithful in little things                   Matthew 25:14-30

Before this passage Jesus gives 3 parables about how we are to be watchful and faithful as we anticipate His return. This parable emphasizes that we are also to be fruitful for Him, using the _________________ He has uniquely entrusted to us.

1.         We are all given __________________ resources to steward for God’s glory             -Deuteronomy 8:17-18

Different types of resources God has entrusted to us:

-Natural temperament and physiological makeup

-Family of origin and early life experiences

-Physical talents

-Things that touch your heart that may become a work calling

-Spiritual gifts after salvation

 

2.         We are responsible to __________________ our own talents and gifts for God!

Our problem is that we obsess with what other people are doing rather than doing the part God has called us to!       John 21:20-22

3.         We will be __________________ for developing and using our resources for God

Romans 14:10-12

This is a call to everyone here to think through the abilities God has given you, whether a lot or a little, and to combine them with the number one ability, _________________________!
