The Believer’s Treasure James 5:1-6

James warns those who have hoarded God’s treasure V. 1
What the Bible condemns is when people forget that 100% of their treasure belongs to God, and we are just Stewards of what God has entrusted to us for a season- and HE can take it away as fast as He gave it

One day our use of God’s treasure will testify for or against us V. 2-6
Much of what the Bible says are “if the shoe fits, wears it” type words!
“What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul?” -Jesus in Matthew 16:26

Verses 2-3 lead to a sobering question: will your treasure be a witness for you or against you on judgment day?
In the age to come, The Lord will have the last word about all matters that were not resolved in earth’s past ages.
